Terms & Conditions for Workshop Registration
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the registration and participation in workshops hosted by Biorisk Management International Ltd (“Company”). By registering for any of our workshops, you (“Participant”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Workshop Details
Our workshops, including but not limited to the ISO 35001:2019 Implementation & Lead Auditor Training, are held at various times and locations. Specific details such as the workshop title, location, date, and registration fee are subject to change and will be published on our website or communicated directly to participants prior to each event. The registration fee typically includes applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
3. Registration
- Registration is confirmed upon receipt of the full registration fee.
- Participants will receive a confirmation email with further details upon successful registration.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made in full at the time of registration via the accepted payment methods specified on our website or in the registration form.
- All payments are non-transferable except as outlined in the Refund Policy below.
5. Refund Policy
- An 80% refund will be issued for cancellations made up until 90 days of the start date of your registered course.
- No refunds will be available for cancellations made after 90 days of the start date of your registered course.
- For cancellations made after 90 days of the start date of your registered course, the registration fee may be credited towards a future workshop organized by the Company, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Company. This credit must be used within 12 months of the original workshop date.
6. Substitution Policy
- Participants may substitute another individual in their place by notifying the Company in writing no later than 30 days before the workshop start date. All substitutions are subject to approval by the Company.
7. Changes to Workshop Details
- The Company reserves the right to make changes to the workshop details, including dates, location, content, and instructors. In the event of significant changes, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible.
- If the Company is required to cancel the workshop, participants will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fee. The Company is not liable for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
8. Liability
- The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants in connection with the workshop, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and personal arrangements in relation to attending the workshop.
9. Intellectual Property
- All materials provided during the workshop, including presentations, documentation, and other content, are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. Participants are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for any commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Company.
10. Privacy
- The Company respects the privacy of participants and will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By registering for the workshop, participants consent to the Company using their personal data for administrative purposes related to the workshop.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the workshop is held. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
